Convio Personal Events

Convio Events

Convio Events enables you to create a variety of events that display as links on a website calendar. Your events can be recurring events, simple announcements that contain the date, time, and location of an event that everyone can attend, or events that require attendees to respond to online RSVPs, purchase tickets, or complete an online registration form.

Traditional ticket sale processes by phone or mail are slow and manually intensive. With Convio Events, your organization can offer constituents a fast, convenient, automated option that will cut your expenses while allowing you to focus on advancing your core mission, not on selling tickets.

Create an online events calendar

You can set up multiple online calendars  with standard timed events, recurring events, multi-day events, or multi-part events that have optional or required registration and can have individual activities that may require additional RSVPs or ticket purchases. Entries can be dynamically filtered, so your constituents can focus on the events in which they are the most interested. The calendar meets Web Accessibility Initiative (W3C WAI) standards and can be displayed in multiple formats.

A wealth of ticketing options

Your organization can create an unlimited number of ticket classes, each with its own name, description, price, tax-deductible amount, capacity and order limit, and even a unique image. You define the offering text, confirmation text and sold-out text, and you can set up access to the event to be restricted by special codes. In addition, reporting tools allow you to monitor ticket sales and download reports for use in planning details such as seating charts or nametags. You can view a history of all online RSVPs and ticket purchases on individual constituent records.

Offline registration

Convio Events provides an easy-to-use offline registration processing feature that lets your staff enter registrations received by phone or mail into the very same system that captures online registrations, without extra data uploads. Offline registrations can utilize the same variety of attendance and ticketing options, and for those offline registrants who provide an email address, they can receive the same follow-up communications received by online registrants.

Improve the constituent experience

Ticket buyers are guided through an easy process and will receive an online receipt immediately upon completing their transaction, followed by an email confirmation. Funds are deposited directly to your merchant account, and the buyer's credit card receipt will show your organization's name. In addition, automatic event reminders can be sent to event attendees.
